Hi I have posted previously with concerns over rising psa - the figures are 9.9 pre cryotherapy and and nadir was 0.57 immediately after focal cryotherapy- despite some minor drops it has gradually increased to 2.11 (June 2020). I am being monitored by UCLH and had an MRI in Nov 2019 where there was no visible evidence of recurrence. They have said come back prior to my scheduled appointment if it reaches 2.5. Can’t seem to get this off my mind but wondered if anyone is experiencing the same very slow rising psa following similar treatment. Sorry for the long winded message.
yes me too! radiotherapy 2015, psa 0.05.
slowly inceasing to 1.5 last february. next appt in october.
i have simply stopped worrying. normal readings can be ,3 to 5,so at 80 i am not exceptional.
you get conflicting advice.nobody really knows!!
just get on with living as best yoj can.
be grateful for every day!!!
