Greg’s PSA result today is 1.3, so glad to see that it’s on its way down. 3 months ago it was 2. He had his last 3 month prostap in January and his radiotherapy finished in February. He had his PSA test whilst he was on ADT and that was 0.2, so I was a bit worried when it rose to 2, but I’m hoping that the radiotherapy is doing its job and zapping anything that tries to resurface as his testosterone is recovering.
His bladder and bowel and still overactive and he hasn’t got much warning these days, but he can cope with that. He has now got an atrial fibrillation and is on blood thinners, I asked if this could have been caused by the prostap, but they said maybe, multi factorial, he’s awaiting an echocardiogram.
That 2.0 figure in July (after his January Prostap jab effect wore off in April plus a few months to “run down” and testosterone return) looks a bit like a strong “bounce” - especially as it’s now 1.3, three months later. All looking good to me! AW
