Omg is this what its like for everybody, turn up early for appointment as its 25 mile journey , about 1.5 hours early took enima empty bladder waited 20 mins could not empty bowels nothing there, as i went  twice this morning,next step 3 glasses water waited 20mins go for scan not enough urine in bladder go have another glass  water and wait, called back still only 175mm, have another glass called back in 329 mm thats ok your ready, go in therapy room they done a scan got a massive gas  bubble , cant do scan walk around a bit then go toilet . If  you wee i i will need another class anyway farted go back in therapy urine now 379mm, had to empty quarter glass of urine  go back in, at last syterm all go, finally after about 4hours is it like that every day

    I had 3 out of 20 sessions where gas was a problem so went out to walk it off.

    I don't think the enemas helped as I never needed them as I had 'been' already. I had to give them up part way through as they caused terrible burning that persisted for weeks..

    You do get better at planning the drinking water and planning to get the bladder optimally filled.

    They gave 300 mls of water at my unit half an hour before going in for RT which seemed to do the trick on most days. I used to do a couple of thousand steps after drinking the water to help clear any gas.

    The staff did say not to be worried about being sent out as it happens to almost everyone.
