Im not sure if its good or a bad thing,my pte- assentment to, first step was a flow test, which i failed, radiograher, came in and told me due to the result of the graph, they advised me , i was not suitable for the operation, and instead they would be increasing my doseage of RT .im not sure if its a good thing or not although tbh i did not want op,she say if they did i probadly be on a catherner bag for some time, so iam relieved about the operation, but with branchytherapy and RT, good job they could job they could cure cancer completely .
Hello Cfc
All is not lost. You are already on Hormone Therapy so in simple terms that's removed the cancer's food and it's stopped any further growth and possible spread.
The Radiotherapy will kill off the cancer cells for good. Just different treatment and it saves you an overnight in hospital.
Best wishes - Brian.
