Great news and so happy that my 6 month post HIFU result has gone down again.
I was really lucky to be an area that has HIFU as an option.
in terms of Side effects I have had very few the only only of note is that I can still occasionally have blood in my urine and it usually when I have over done be it exercise or lifting something to heavy or just doing to much. I take it easy once I see it and usually it is cleared up with 12-24hrs. I can honestly say that I have not had any other side effects.
So now to keep working on that fitness and enjoying life until the 9month PSA test. ️
truly grateful to Professor Hashim Ahmed at the Cromwell Hospital london and his fantastic team.

Thank you KrisPy. I was really fortunate to have had a PSA test last year when I was 54 from a conversation I had had with a colleague at work that had been diagnosed. I had no symptoms.
Since then I have been telling everyone including complete strangers I have just met about getting a PSA including what my journey has been like. I have had so many come back to me saying they have had the test thankfully the majority have been negative, but some have been diagnosed in the main most have been early enough for curative treatment.
I have read your journey and I wish you well. I was diagnosed with another illness back in 2011 where I had so many steroids I know that feeling of being on them and also coming off them! I will have to take a look at that pure gym membership you mention.
All the best. Wayne
