So far I've been on Relugalix for nearly 8 weeks and my Grade 8/9 lesion PSA has gone down from 5.8 to 0.45. I have a stricture in the prostate from a TURP so the notes from MCT (NHS) is 'radiation not recommended'. As my lesion is contained and not spread so far i do not know why I have not been told or IF I will be offered prostatectomy (the only curative option I think). Do I need to be on the drug far longer (months?) to get the PSA and lesion size right down or worse am I excluded for some reason and need drugs permanently raising the risk of an inevitable spread? The MCT nurse has only said I will need another PSA test in 3/4 months. Wow! Leaving a high grade lesion to do it's work in that time! I am 79 and otherwise super fit.
