My husband has been on Abiraterone for two months. We found out today that his liver enzymes (specifically ALT) has risen in this period from 24 to 277. His Bilirubin and ALP levels are in the normal range. His Oncologist has taken him off the Abiraterone and has requested a further blood test in Ten days and a follow up appointment in two weeks time. It’s disappointing as Abiraterone is such a good drug, especially with locally advanced aggressive pc. (T3b Gleason 9). He’s otherwise very fit and well, No other issues. Has anyone else had this problem with Abiraterone, and if so, what happened.
