Hello all
Its Les
I have had the second PSA this June and that was the same as my last post 5.4 the and again this time 5.4. Nurse seem to think not to much to worry about so we put off MRI scan and have another PSA in September and go from there. But its creeping up. I have other aches and pains at the moment but GP thinks that could be due to the statins I am taking. He stopped me taking them for a few weeks to see if pain would go away,,, which it did so he put me back on them again but aches and pain is coming back, So next week I will phone him again and see what we do there. I must say I am enjoying this warm / hot weather. but not doing to much sitting out in it.
Hello Les (Les s )
Nice to hear from you again. I see you are enjoying the warm weather but keeping out of the sun, a wise move.
For a man of your age a PSA of up to 6.5 is normally very acceptable so i would be going with the flow and not worrying about it at the moment - anyway your team look to be looking after you.
I have a few "aches and pains" but I put most of them down to "old age" - but we are all getting older.
Look after yourself and do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
