Initial 3 months of abiterone complete.....psa now 1..74 ,still on deceptacyl  injections so I am quite happy Blush   .Fatigue I just live around the heat hasn't helped   ...I have started doing basic arm exercises as I can't lift much  ..still walking and   cycling, need a stick sometimes The main message still keep positive all

  • Good news Col Thumbsup Totally agree re positivity, absolutely vital in tackling this condition. Best wishes to you and everyone else.

  • Good news!

I completely agree about the heat. “Pushing through” completely floored me last week.

Apparently I have to wait for it to shout to listen to my body.

    Steve

    Changed, but not diminished.

  • Hi  - yes, you might be “struggling to get your PSA below 2”…. But your consultant is “struggling to find any prostate cancer cells”!  Long may the second statement ring true.  AW

  • Hello

I haven't updated my profile for a while, indeed nothing exciting has happened - yet!

I came off HT a couple of weeks ago. Testosterone is back with a vengeance  Innocent so it's PSA mid July and Consultants meeting.

I have a feeling it will be up - leave it for 3 months and then we will be back on the hunt for the little bastards. I will see what my PSA is in July - if it's above 10 I am minded to ask for another PSMA-PET scan - the NHS have built a lovely new Community Diagnostic centre a mile away with all the kit so I am sure it needs testing!

    Que Sera Sera  Thumbsup.

Kind regards, and thanks for your continued support. - Brian.

  • Hi  - remind us.  When was your last three monthly jab?  That sounds very quick return of Tommy T!  You must have teenage genes Joy.  AW

  • Hello

Completed 3 years HT 06/12/24 - testosterone was fully back in time to celebrate Christmas! Innocent.

6 month HT jab 22/09/25 followed by 3 month HT jab 18/03/26.

We do have 4 children - as they used to say, "every egg a bird", yes I appear to be well blessed with the speedy return of my testosterone - I think that's the bloody problem!

    Kind regards - brian.
