Hi, I’m 50 diagnosed at end of 49 Just been diagnosed with Gleason 7 3+4 and PSA 3.1 Last test Jan 26 Following consultant appointment I have currently chosen AS. Biopsy was 24/04/26 ,Just wanting to know in other peoples views howSlight smileS should work as in regards communication / updates as I was informed at my diagnosis consultation 14/05/26 my last PSA was in Jan and I should have a new PSA test asap, so new test done on 1st JunSlight smile looked on the NHS APP - and says I can’t view until 29th June ???? No contact from anyone so I would assume all ok? However I had to see a GP based on your help in my last forum msg that I speak wSlight smileh GP regarding ED - after questioning etc said that I don’t have a major issue but netherless gave me a prescription for 4 tablets and said see if that helps! At same time asked if I should have beSlight smile contacted by my GP or Consultants as bit concerned regarding this and how AS should work, GP said they could look at bloods PSA result and before they could tell me I saw it on the screen and it wSlight smile 6.02 so I then asked that’s nearly doubled ? Should someone of contacted me ? Sorry for long winded msg Slight smile regards Leroy

    So for a man aged 50 your expected PSA should be around 3.5.

    Every health authority and GP practice works in their own way so personally if no one contact you from either Urology at the hospital or your GP practice I would request a further PSA test at the start of September with your GP.

    Just out of curiosity what did your MRI say about the cancer in the prostate gland?  Was it anywhere near the gland edge?
