hi ive had my 8 weekly phone call today and they have told me my psa has risen slightly from 0.03 to 0.12. they have told me not to worry at the moment. my question is has anyone had a small rise only for it to go down again. ive had tripple therapy wich finished last July and im now on darolutamide daily and decapeptyl injection every three months . thanks
Hello golfboy from a fellow triplet therapy subject. I'm coming up to 2 years since my treatment started.
It's naturally worrying if PSA shows an increase, even one so small. When I was monitoring mine from first treatment of RT/HT in 2016 to confirmation of recurrence in early 2024 it sometimes went up on one test only to go down again at the next one.
It's still very low and far from anything to worry about, so try to stay positive and wait for the next test which will hopefully see it go back down. One test does not make a trend.
