In February my PSA was 18.2. In March/April I had 5 doses of SABR and my PSA has now dropped to 10.4. I had, of course, hoped/imagined it would fall to o and was initially very alarmed but I THINK that such a drop a month after finishing SABR (without ADT) is actually quite positive? Am I right?
Hello Alasdair
SABR is like any other form of radiotherapy and works over time. Your lowest or nadir reading should be about 18 months after finishing the course.
Personally I would have hoped for a bigger initial drop. I assume you will tested every 3 months to keep an eye on it.
I wish you well with the future results.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hello Alasdair
That sounds fine in that case - I do hope you get a significant drop in the next few months, please do keep us up to speed.
