I don’t want to detract from the good work and advice given by our friends from MacMillan but I found this site easy to use. It gives information on diagnosis and the various treatments. It was recommended by my Nurse Specialist during my three monthly meeting last week.
Good Morning Beerandrocks
Yes, I agree with you it's a cracking resource and is from a trusted UK source.
In our defence I would say on the Community we have 65 different cancer groups coupled to another 20 or so support groups - so funding for information and resources here is spread a little more. I can however provide similar information from the Macmillan Resources I have available to me.
There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer here too Volunteering at Macmillan.
I can also say that the Prostate Community at Macmillan has been voted the Number 1 Online Prostate Community for 2026 (the second year in a row) by Feedspot on their online site reviews so we must be doing something right.
Thank you for the post.
Best wishes - Brian.
