4 weeks to the day since my last PSA blood test & I was getting ready to chase the results up with the hospital when the letter finally arrived a bit soggy & wet. Yes, it's raining again in ''sunny Cornwall''!
The latest score is 0.42 which was up slightly on the previous one of 0.35. The letter notes that this is satisfactory & requires no further action apart from another test 6 months on from the last one. The letter confirms that they will investigate further with a PSMA PET scan if PSA rises above 2.0. Readings to date are as follows:
7.6 Original PSA 03/23
0.09 Post RT 11/23
0.38 06/24
0.25 01/25
0.35 06/25
0.42 01/26
So, time to relax again & look forward to Spring & planning what to plant in the garden this year - the Camelias are already blooming so hopefully it's just around the corner.
Thanks Brian (Buzzers)
Apart from the delay in sending your PSA results you have a great team looking after you and you have done really well on your personal prostate cancer journey. Long may it continue.
In darkest Lancashire today it's been dry and sunny with a biting wind and in the garden the crocuses have decided to show their face this week.
Thanks for the continued support you provide across the Community (even if you do pick up my slightest mistake! ).
Kind regards - Brian.
