Hello shahramahroyan
You are correct, Hormone Therapy can cause you to have increased blood sugars and if you are not already Type 2 diabetic can lead to a diabetic diagnosis.
I was already diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes when I received my cancer diagnosis. my diabetic nurse set me a higher limit on my Hba1c (blood sugars) and said if I exceeded this the GP would increase my medication. I was also reminded to check my blood sugar levels twice a day at home.
Watching what I eat and drink I have been able to keep my blood sugars to an acceptable level and had not had to increase my medication. I hope this helps.
Best wishes - Brian.
