Hello Everyone
We had an Oncologist review today 6 months from end of chemo.and after recent CT,MRI ,Bone scan.
At 3months psa was 0.5 from 4432 .Today 0.26.
"All areas have had an excellent response. Prostate is normal size. No areas requiring irradiation. Mets (bone only no lymph originally) either resolved or more than partially resolved . No new lesions anywhere. "
As my LH feels very well, only occasional hot flush, the plan is to continue Prostap & Riveroxaban (prev dvt after chemo) scans and review in 6months or sooner if needed.
We are feeling very fortunate & thrilled with the result and are looking forward to relaxing once my recent eye stent issue is sorted.
Thank you to everyone who has shared experiences and offered encouragement and support. We have appreciated it all so very much since our journey began 18months ago.
Wishing everyone the relief and joy we feel tonight.
Wonderful news for you both! It’s good to hear when things are going really well. Enjoy your evening as I’m sure you will!
Hi Suekee, That is wonderful news, long may it continue.
All the best Sheena
Hello Suekee
Well it's been a very hectic 18 months but now you have both come out of the treatment stage with cracking results.
It just shows with a T4 diagnosis and the best team a positive result is possible.
Best wishes to you and LH moving forward.
Brian.

Hello Sue & Mike (Suekee)
Thank you for your post - I am sure your positive post will help others.
As an aside:
"Strength, Courage, Faith, Hope, Defiance, VICTORY."
were the 6 words on a badge given to me by one of my granddaughters early in 2022 just after I had told her of my cancer diagnosis. To spend her pocket money on that badge had me in tears (mind you now on Hormone Therapy I can cry at the drop of a hat!).
Kind Regards - Brian.
