Hello guys, Been diagnosed with prostate cancer advanced NOMO Over two weeks ago, I saw the consultant and we discussed the possibility of either operation or HT/RT HE THEN REFERRED ME TO ONCOLOGY That I haven’t heard from yet I managed to contact oncology yesterday and they have my documents. He gave me the time skills of six weeks where initially I was told by The Doctor/Consultant, it would be two weeks

CPG4 is a high risk of growing quickly and spreading out of my prostate.

I am extremely worried and appreciate any advice In this regard

Thanks

  • Hello

It's no problem. We are all thrown in at the deep end and we learn very quickly to fend for ourself on this journey. The Community served me well in my early days and I am putting back in what i have had out (yes I have ongoing training and the full support of The Community Team behind me).

It's been a life changing journey for me but there is very little you can do for yourself apart from take advice from others and listen to your team.

I do have my own thread  (Que Sera Sera) and I will be posting on this next week as I have a PSA test on Monday and a Consultants meeting on Thursday

Yes I do try and look on the funny side of things - hence my blog:

‘Cancer can’t take my sense of humour’- Brian's story

(I must get round to finishing part 2!).

Life goes on and it's very precious - I would encourage everyone on this journey to "Always look on the Bright Side of Life".

    Best wishes - Brian.
