I had my first 3 monthly injection of deceptacyl last year. The nurse noticed that the dosage was the same as for the monthly....is this correct?I have no idea...I noticed Carl 28 mentioned deceptac?Anybody got a answer ?.Thanks.
Usually different dosage level according to whether mthly, quarterly or half yearly. Thus:
Decapeptyl SR 3 mg is given as one injection every 28 days (4 weeks)
Decapeptyl SR 11.25 mg is given as one injection every 3 months (12 weeks)
Decapeptyl SR 22.5 mg is given as one injection every 6 months (24 weeks)
I suppose may be exceptions.
