Hi all, was diagnosed with T3a PC back in July this year. Was told that it's is curable with 6 months of HT then 20 sessions of RT. Ok so now 4 months later my hands and feet joints are swollen and painful. Difficult walking as my left foot is the worst. Has anyone else experienced this, or is just my body. I feel like a young man driving a clap out old car with some rust spots.
Hello.
Good to see you here, and sorry for the fact you have to be.
Your sounds like a pretty common diagnosis of this illness. I see that it is T3a, although you do not give the Gleason score, or whether the cancer has affected any other part of the body, such as the lymph nodes.
I had a quick look and these symptoms don't seem to the side effects of the medication.
You don't say whether you have spoken to your GP, or your cancer team, but if you haven't I think it is time you did.
Other things entirely separate from the cancer or its treatment can affect you, and your symptoms sound quite like my brother's encounters with gout.
Please get it checked out.
You might be surprised if someone can make a diagnosis and treatment quickly.
Steve
