Good evening.
So today Dad has been for his 1st oncology appointment. He is T3b N1 M1b. Gleason 9.
spread to ribs, hip and spine.
He was diagnosed with bladder cancer in Feb 24 also.
Anyway the registrar that we saw today has said that because he is on BCG treatment for the bladder then chemo isn’t an option for the prostate.
He has said that another hormone tablet along side the hormone injections is the best route to take.
The tablet is called apatulamide. I just wondered if others have had good results from this. Many thanks.
Hello Jewelse2b714
I have replied to your post as it's not had any answers in the past 20 hours and it's now getting lost on page 2 of the group so by me replying it will be "bumped up" to the top of page. I can't answer it myself as apalutamide isn't something I am on at the moment - but we have community members who to take it.
Best wishes - Brian.
