Update on PSA

Hi everyone

OH had another undetectable PSA result,  which we are over the moon about.

He fell and broke his ankle in 3 places in June and had to have major reconstructive surgery which was certainly challenging but we seem to be on the other side now. He is back on 2 feet and can walk but no more than half a mile at a time.

As a result his fatigue levels are off the chart but he is finding his way back slowly and trying to do something every day.

I asked the onc nurse if the break was bad because of the HT treatment he is on but she said we will never know so there is no point in dwelling on it too much.

Best wishes to all on this journey,  keep up the good fight.

X

  • Hello

Cracking PSA result and I hope you were celebrating it in the appropriate style!!

I am no expert but when they put you on HT and say take calcium and Vitamin D supplements to prevent weakness in your bones - putting 1 and 1 together with the broken ankle I get 2!!

I hope his recovery continues and so does the PSA reading.

    Best wishes - Brian.
