Hi all I got a call on Friday asking me to come for an appointment to discuss my prostate biopsy results. Does anyone in Northern Ireland have any experience of when treatment might begin. TIA
Hi Moder
Sorry Moder I can't say but hopefully you won't have to wait too long. My husband was red flagged to see an Urologist under the NHS and that took 6 weeks. Husband didn't want to wait that long so we used Benenden to get a initial appointment with a Consultant and he had an MRI done through Kingsbridge Belfast. My husband is now waiting for a biopsy to be carried out. Goodness knows how long he'll have to wait. When you attend your appointment to discuss your biopsy results I would ask them.
Wishing you all the best.
