Hello
my dad has just had his second hormone injection and finished radiotherapy 8 weeks ago
he is complaining of needing to go the loo at lots with bowels and he worries about going out in case he needs the loo at short notice. He’s 77 and is being treated as curable
can I ask anyone who’s been through this if it’s part of the side effects? It’s only really been since he’s finished radiotherapy
thank you
Hello Lesleymak77
Yes, that's a possible side effect of the Radiotherapy. He needs to have a word with his GP who should be able to provide medication to cure the issue. Make sure dad reminds them he completed his Radiotherapy 8 weeks ago.
Best wishes - Brian.
