Not sure if this has previously been mentioned, I came across it yesterday

  • The article gave this quote:

The researchers are currently seeking funding to progress the drug combination into clinical trials for prostate cancer.

So it looks as if it may move forward, subject, of course, to money.

It also illustrates how increasingly we get benefits through using fast computers and AI. It has become an indispensable tool in the battle against cancer.

Personally, I always say "please" and "thank you" to Alexa. When she takes over the world I want her to remember that I was polite. Besides, I've read that the extra system traffic costs Jeff Bezos money.

    Changed, but not diminished.
  • Steve, it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one trying to culture my 'AI manner'.  I have a funny feeling that Alexa may have replied "you're welcome" once when I had expressed my thanks.

  • Funny thing, but SIRI tends to say ''you're welcome'' when you thank him (or her) as well!
