I've just now got my biopsy appt for next Weds -
I will ask them on the day, but wondered how people normally get the result - by phone, letter or face to face?
Obviously at some point they sit you down and go over things and possible treatments (not there yet) maybe they still have to do a bone scan first
as I expect I will be at least a T3 (outside the capsule) according to MRI?
I'm under Barts Health area London if anyone else recognises that.
Hello Patrick (Patrick100022a3b9)
Every health authority differs - some it's face to face, others it's by telephone.
I would advise on the day you take someone with you who can help take notes and ask any questions you have. Once you have your results thy are normally discussed at an MDT meeting (Urology, Oncology and Clinical Staff) to consider the best option for your personal treatment.
Here's a link to help you with any questions you have:
Questions-to-ask-your-healthcare-team.
I hope this helps - do let us know how you get on.
Best wishes - Brian.
