Hi all. Had my catheter out 2 weeks ago but still got a bit of burning after a pee especially towards the end of the wee. Anyone else had similar. I’ve contacted the doctors to try and get a uti test but been fobbed off until Monday. On reading my nhs app a doctor has said in the notes that it’s unlikely I’ve got a uti and is possibly prostatism which I think is pretty much impossible. Cheers. Simon

I had a catheter for 10 months with many changes in that period - not once did I have a problem.
Your notes are clearly wrong as you don't have a Prostate now so I think I would be back in touch with your GP and confirm you are still having issues.
