Hello Everyone
Its been a while since Ive been able to post, due to a problem with my account. IT has solved it.
Thank you to everyone for all the support and kindness we have received during the last 12 months since joining this amazing PC family.
My LH completed 6 rounds of chemo at the end of July. We saw our Oncologist this week.
We were thrilled to hear LH psa was down to 0.5 (4,432 12months ago)
Originally radiotherapy was muted for Oct. but since LH has had an "Excellent response" and no symptoms, urinary voiding is best its been for yrs, quality of life is good, the Oncologist suggested scan & review of everything in January 26.
Obviously he is to continue on ADT, Prostap .
We were thrilled. LH very encouraged. I'm thrilled and cautiously optimistic and will feel safer if we have an interim psa.
We would be doing a holiday to some sun asap if it were not for LH having a popliteal dvt! We are still thrilled to go away close to home in our caravan, our oasis!
We are so happy to share our news so far and thank you all again. I have very much missed being able to post recently.
Sending every good wish to all.
Hello Suekee
Great to hear from you and we love good news on this group.
I think that PSA result (a drop of 4431.5) is something to celebrate - .
Long may your LH's PSA remain at that levee.
Best wishes - Brian.

Another dollop of excellent news for us all! Well done to you and LH!
Hi Suekee - well, what a textbook response to the therapy! You should be thrilled, as you said, as this shows that your LH is a “high secreter “ so the cancer has no place to hide. Isn’t medical science wonderful. AW
Hi Suekee, that is such fantastic news, go and enjoy a holiday where ever it is.
Thank you Alpine Wanderer. I am reassured by all the replies I've had.
Although I worry that LH has not been given an ARPi too. When I read others' profiles its seems they have those in addition to ADT.
Previously we were outside the 12wk window(Nice guidelines & local protocol) for triplet therapy.
His last testosterone was < 0.5.
Please can you say more about
"high secreter"?
Thank you
