Hi all
We got back of holiday on Saturday after having a nice break and today my LH spoke with the cancer specialist nurse and was told that the PSMA PET scan showed the cancer to be contained in the prostate gland, which is the best we can hope for given what we already knew. The MDT have recommended HT and radiotherapy which is what LH would have chosen anyway so that's good. He has an appointment with the nurse to pick up his meds on Thursday and an appointment with the consultant the following Friday so at last things are moving on :)

Lots of positives here! A good holiday, cancer contained within the prostate, a treatment plan and hormone therapy started. I feel confident in saying that you are over the horrible start we all exrience with this journey
hopefully plain sailing ahead! X
Hello Dogs4me
Amazing how good a holiday is, and to come back to good news - Happy days. That's the diagnostic stage done, just the HT/RT to go - but I am sure you will get used to the "new normal".
We love good news on here.
Best wishes - Brian.
