Hi all,
I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in December 2022. I was told it was not curable, but manageable. I receive hormone therapy injections every three months and take darolutamide twice daily. I have had chemotherapy and recently radiotherapy. My question is, should I worry if my hot flushes have stopped? Until about a month ago, I was getting hot flushes on regularly basis.
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question, but my mind is in overdrive!
Regards Darren
If you find the answer and hopefully it's a good answer please let everyone know.
Hot flushes are an absolute pain.
I've tried Sage Tablets and other supposed solutions and nothing works
Hello Darren (Zumerset)
The thing about Hormone Therapy is that not everyone gets all the side effects.
Both Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy can increase the Hot Flushes so it's not them.
Perhaps you are just lucky but as Slartibartfast said - if you find out why they have stopped please do let us know.
Best wishes - Brian.
