I spoke to a nurse on the phone that was a lot more helpful than yesterday. He went through things clearly.
lesions on both sides
left 24mm, bulging on capsule, biopsy showed suspicious on that area, but not conclusive
right 9mm
18 cores taken, 8 cancerous
gleason 3+3
T3a which is why he has to have bone scan and CT scan. The wait for these are 2 weeks for bone scan and 4-6 weeks for CT scan
yesterday’s PSA 11.9
i don’t remember feeling this worried before, it’s such a terrible feeling.
Hi WW
Slightly puzzling as prostate wall bulging but has anything spread outside which is why would be classed a T3a.
Could Def be worth asking why T3a, has it escaped the gland, I know bone scan to do but hopefully that will be negative especially with those low PSAs.
T3a would be just outside the gland that's it.
Still potentially curable by the way , good only a Gleeson 6.
Best wishes
Steve
