Hi all. Wow.! Where did that week go. After spending an extra day in hospital due to a bad morphine reaction I got home late Friday. I had really bad wind and heartburn at first but Gaviscon and laxatives helped First couple of days I spent a massive amount of time sleeping which I think helped massively. Today I’ve just had a visit off a district nurse who has taken out my staples and said my wounds are healing really well. I am up and about and plan to actually go out tomorrow to a cafe with the catheter in tow! ( it’s been raining as it was planned today) It is annoying at times but it’s a means to an end. I am mobile round the house . All in all I feel quite well and in another week should be hopefully 100%. Hope everyone who’s recently had the op is doing ok. Cheers. Simon
Hello Simon (Simon64)
Sounds like a plan - you did say cafe and not pub?? .
Your recovery is going well and I hope the results of the histology are good once you get them. I know the catheter is a pain - I had mine for 10 months! but it's a necessity.
I know it's far to early to check on the outcome but don't do too much and listen to your body. That way you will be fine.
Keep us in the loop please as it helps others going down the surgery route.
Kind Regards - Brian
