Hello
My husband just had his telephone call
PSA--1.6
Please can you tell me what is the level when you should start to worry?
sorry to hear that. I'm sure when they rang him if there was anything to worry or be concerned about they would have told him. I was lucky, mine was diagnosed early with no outbreaks from prostate, now only need PSA checked every 6 months for 3 years then every 12 months for further 2 years
Hello It is me
That PSA is fine - you should only worry if it rises by two whole points to 3.6 or above he has 3 "small" rises in a row.
Cary on and enjoy life.
Best wishes - Brian.

yes and no, cancer cured but I'm in process of sorting my back out, I was diagnosed with stenosis spinel nerve channel damage just before the prostate cancer was diagnosed, but obviously was put on hold while my cancer got treatment. saw the consultant last Thursday, discovered its more advanced now after comparing X-rays, so I'm now awaiting surgery in neck part of spine, must be urgent now, after seeing me he asked for more X-rays of the complete spine and they rang me next morning with MRI appointment for this Wednesday. won't be sorry to see end of this year
