Long time no post. I was hoping to wait until after OH oncology appointment before posting all the results etc which of course i will still do. However, OH is almost finished his second week of Bicalutamide and has mostly been feeling ok sometimes a bit ‘odd’ in the mornings. He had his first Prostap3 injection on Tuesday and hasnt felt any different so far. He has noticed when taking his blood pressure readings that his pulse is lower than normal. It is generally normal low as in low 60’s as he takes a beta blocker. Its now sitting between 52 and 54 but he feels ok. He is of the impression its the bicalutimide and not the prostap. He has another fortnight before they finish. Wondering if OK to just run the course and then see what happens thereafter and also mention to oncologist when there?
Hi Rooky ,
Your pharmacist might be well-placed to discuss drugs effects and interactions, especially given the "Pharmacy First" thing going on.
You can check what is going on, and especially whether it is something that you need to call attention to before your meeting.
