  • Without asking (only in the title of this post) I would say that this is a perfect place to ask everything you want to the people that closest resemble what you’re going through. Ask and ye shall be heard and answered.

If it’s tiredness you are asking about then the possibility that you want to do more than you can stings to mind. So slow down and give yourself time to adjust to your new strength and pace.

So many fellow travellers in this mad world of prostate cancer are there to help so just keep asking questions until you are satisfied.

You have a necessary ingredient to surviving this journey in you sense of humour so try and keep that while you are tested both physically and mentally.

We can help so ask what you like. Advice and positivity can be found here in abundance.

  • The muscle ache is diminishing...but at times it seems Tired face I am at the bottom of the sea moving very slowly.

  • Hi Big Col

I recently had a cystoscopy and it wasn't as bad as I imagined. Some mild discomfort and it feels a bit strange but really nothing too unpleasant. It was also over very quickly (under five minutes) so you're not uncomfortable for long.

Only downside was I picked up a urinary infection as a result of the procedure which I had to treat with antibiotics from my GP.

    Best of Luck Rob

  • Thanks Thumbsup Rob the first one I had hit a obstacle straight away and was abandoned....just need to get it out of the way.

  • Hi Big Col

Just read your post to my LH.

He said it was only mildly uncomfortable, but facinating to see the discovery of 3 large bladder stones displayed on the monitor. Good distraction! He asked them to be generous with the local anaesthetic gel.

Good luck, hope it goes well for you.
