End of HT

For everything to come back to "normal" it can take as long as you were on HT!! For most people they are back to normal in 12 months.

I completed 3 years in December 2024 and everything including libido was back to normal in 3 months , however my testosterone has flooded back along with rising PSA so it looks like I will be back on HT once my PSA reaches 10!! .

If you were on 3 monthly Prostrap injections and your last one was in April things should slowly start to return to normal from now.

I've had 6 months HT treatment, with 2 x Prostap injections (last in February). My medical team said that the worst of the side effects should wear off after about half the overall duration of the original treatment (so for me 6 months treatment finished in mid May, so side effects hopefully gone by mid August).

However, the one guaranteed thing about PC is that nobody can accurately predict what will happen in the future.

Had my final 3 monthly Prostap 5 weeks ago and now Very much looking forward to a reduction in those unwanted effects hopefully Soon!
