Hi
I have a 6 month psa rise from 0.02 to 0.06 3 years after radical prostatectomy.
I'm obviously concerned about what seems to be a fast doubling time.
Is anybody in a similar situation?
Hi MH
I assume that always been at about' .02 after surgery so could just be a one off, ok more than doubled but still very low.
I think that they don't normally do further scans until reached .2 not .02.
Possibly because nothing would show up.
So perhaps push for another PSA fairly soon, also salvage Radiotherapy still an option at some point.
Perhaps others will come forward with their ideas
All the best
Steve
Thanks Steve
Was
0.01 for 32 months then 0.02 six months ago now 0.06 six months later.
Ok then, so just wait for one more and then if another increase ask them what's to be done although perhaps u have already done that.
Like I said earlier there are still plenty of options
I realise it's the waiting that gets to you, hope all goes ok
