  1. My husband PSA 12 and PIRAD 4 recently had a biopsy and we’re still waiting for the results.  We had a letter from the urologist for an appointment for a bladder ultrasound and flow test.  I was wondering if he is likely to receive the results for the biopsy in this appointment, or just the flow test etc. it’s been 2-3 weeks since biopsy.  Also is this routine due to his slightly enlarged prostate 33cc or significant.
  • Hi  , my take is that they are not yet convinced it is PCa as the PSA dropped, although PIRADS 4 is indicative, so are looking to see what else is going on with the flow test.  The biopsy will confirm one way or the other.  It depends who does the flow test but unless you see a Doctor I would think unlikely to get the results, but it wouldn’t stop me asking!

    Best wishes, David

  • Thank you for replying.  It’s with the consultant urologist. It’s been 3 weeks since the biopsy, so it’s quite likely that he will get the results.  It’s been a real roller coaster of emotions all of this waiting and hoping, panicking, accepting etc.

  • Waiting is the worst part.

    Best wishes, David
