Biopsy put back by nearly 2 weeks :(

You could always give your hospital urology department a call and let them know you are available to come in at short notice to cover any cancellations - you would be surprised how many they get!

I think he feels he needs time to prepare for it (mentally I presume) so is worried he will get a call asking him to go in at a moments notice and that scares him. It is not how I would deal with it but I will have to respect that is the way he feels.

I am like you - let's find out what's going on and get it over with. 

Biopsy 27 July, results to MDT meeting say 11 August so it's going to be late August at this rate before you get a diagnosis and treatment plan.

Yeah I know  and to complicate things further we are meant to be going on holiday (UK) for a week on 30th August. I was hoping he would be on HT or a waiting list for surgery by then .....

One thing Urology/Oncology are good at is working round holidays as they appreciate with cancer any break is good for the mind and body. If any meetings come up that week just let them know you have a pre-booked holiday.
