Do you have to have an ECG before radiotherapy?

  • Yes I did.

    I didn't think to ask why because I have also visited the hospital for back problems and I had an ECG then too.

  • No it's never been mentioned to me I just saw something on here I guess they no I have afib

  • I had HDR Brachytherapy back in November and had ECG at consultation in September as it was to be an operation, they did detect an analogy so a full heat scan followed before clearing me for the procedure all went very well.
