Hi everyone
just thought I would post update on how my brother is doing on the chemo . He only has one more chemo left in 2 weeks and that will be 6 he’s done . This fifth one has really knocked him for six the fatigue and lack of taste is really getting him down but he knows it’s only one more and that’s what is keeping him going. This is the first time he just can’t do any exercise he said this one has been the worst . He got his PSA result the other day and it is 0.5 so he is really pleased with that as his first PSA was 50.9 . Hopefully he will be feeling better soon and I hope you are all keeping well

Hello Bg65
It only feels like the other day when you first posted about your brother - time just passes us by!!
He's doing great - 1 more to go and a low PSA - long may it continue.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi Bg65 , your brother sounds to be doing well and once the next session is over, each day will see a slight improvement. Exercise is important but also listening to his own body is really key. Chemo can be really harsh for some people but I had the mantra ‘no pain no gain’. The relief when the cannula comes out for the last time is massive and he can look forward to slowly getting better. Just remember this isn’t a sprint but a marathon. Please send him our best wishes and thank you for keeping us updated. David
Best wishes, David

Hi David
thank you so much for replying like I said to Brian (millibob ) yous have helped us a family on here through this journey I’m so pleased I joined talking to others who are going through this . Exercise is so important and my brother has been pushing himself exercising every day but this time he’s struggling and your so right he has to listen to his body I said that to him it’s ok to rest on days he’s not up to it . Thank you again for all your advise you have given me on this journey and I will keep updating on here as I know I am always coming on reading others updates as it’s good to see how certain treatments affect different people .
