Hi all,

Received my bloods back Friday evening after requesting a PSA test.

52 year old male

No symptoms just feeling a bit unwell and wanted a base line so to speak.

So results say GP appointment within 48hrs , follow NICE guidance 12.

Obviously being weekend there's no one to talk to, main worrying points from the bloods were

Prostate Ag 4.9

Serum Alt 78

Lymphocyte 0.7

Neutrophil 2.3

Total white cell 3.7

Seems there may be a correlation between the white cell count and possible prostrate issues.

Tomorrow can't come quickly enough, just hope the doctors takes it seriously and knows his stuff. :)

Your PSA is only slightly raised but some of the other figures don't look quite right so good that you have a quick appointment.

So I had a doctor's appointment today,

Doctor carried out the physical exam, notes were enlarged smooth.

He wasn't concerned with the blood test results, but has requested a full bloods again tomorrow.

He's referred under the 2 week route to urology.

He says he's being cautious and try not to worry.

He's also referred under the 2 weeks route for a lump in my chest.

Telephone consult has come through for Friday from urology, hospital appointment for breast a week tomorrow.

Ok, so doesn't sound too bad, hope things go ok over the next couple of weeks, come back when U have more info.

Hi Steve1973 your bloods are slightly out as well as your PSA which is a little high for your age. But it could mean an infection. It sounds like your doctor is fully on it though which is great.
