Well, PSA results are back and it's up again as expected, now at 3.80.
Further blood tests ordered to test my testosterone (I can tell them it's back without a test ) and liver and kidney function and a PSMA PET Scan is being ordered.
I will keep you all updated - I know now after 3.5 years why they call this a "journey"
Thank you all for your comments and good wishes and continued support across the entire Community.

Another revelation talked about was that there has been some research into statin use and allegedly it is a good thing to be taking if you have PC, also a small aspirin. Statically better with than without. Now I’m open mouthed because I think maybe we are in the wrong room and have slipped into cardiology somehow.
BW now totally onboard and eyeing up my aspirin and possibly one of the only people I know that is thinking about asking his GP for statins.
Hi Lorraine (BW)

Now I have read that somewhere - and have been on them for years. Not had the one about aspirin.
Yes - to me these are strange times and it's me it's happening to, however I have faith in my team so "Happy Days".
Kind Regards - Brian. xx

Hi Brian,
Well, that is a positive result from the medics as you had already guessed that something was afoot, & they are now going to be on your case every 3 months.
I was going to suggest booking another trip to your holiday home but you have already beaten me to it. 4 weeks time you will be back there again, & why not.
Best Wishes
Brian
To true I don't see my oncologist till November so I don't think about pc I just enjoy each day...I cope better.
Hi L, from someone from cardiology, regarding asprin as a prevention or treatment for PCa, I've never found any good evidence of it merits as a treatment, but appears to lower your risk of developing PCa, to some degree, but it's much more effective in reducing colorectal occurrence.
As for statins, they have been shown to lower the risk of developing PCa, but I have never found anything regarding a treatment,
Though metaflorin, a diabetes treatment, shows good results as a treatment, disrupting the ARF in cancer cells, stopping them from growing, as well as interfering with how cancer cells use glucose which they need for survival and progression
The use of metaformin and statins together has shown a significant reduction in PCa cases,
Eddie
