Well, PSA results are back and it's up again as expected, now at 3.80.
Further blood tests ordered to test my testosterone (I can tell them it's back without a test ) and liver and kidney function and a PSMA PET Scan is being ordered.
I will keep you all updated - I know now after 3.5 years why they call this a "journey"
Thank you all for your comments and good wishes and continued support across the entire Community.
Best wishes

Hello Shar
A most understandable reaction - sadly cancer does not discriminate and sometimes it catches you out when you least expect it.
As a group we are here for you - if you need to vent or need anything we on this group are here for you and always will be - we look after our own!
Kind Regards - Brian xx

Hi Brian. The temperature has definitely ramped up in our part of the Med and it looks as if it is here to stay. We also had a Gyros last night with lashing of Tzatziki but instead of the Pitta we had a salad. We had an extra long swim this evening to counteract but have now had an Ice cream as we sit and watch the sun going down -oh dear, good intentions but what else can you do when the temperature is still 30°C at 19:20.
Hi Brian (Millibob).
I’m sure you are having a great time in your home from home despite awaiting results of tests as I’m sure most people on this forum are. I completely understand your absolute joy at your football win as I am a fan too but of a different team.
You helped me through a very difficult time over a year ago (wow, was it really that long ago) and my ‘curative path’ is now checked every 6 months and I will never forget your help and the inspiration from the guys on this forum.
Enjoy your Efes while I hope to be enjoying my Alfa or Mythos in Corfu in a couple of weeks - can’t beat a few beers watching the sun set.
Wishing you the absolute best of luck with your scan results.

Good Morning Steve (Stevecam)
No results yet!! as I had my Scan on the late May bank holiday Monday and have a face to face with my consultant on 19 June - so I kind of think it might not be good news,
Still - sod that I am in Turkey and the EFES and Kebabs are great - the sun is shining and my BMI is on the up - already done my 10 lengths of the pool!!
Kind Regards - Brian.

Hello Alwayshope
Yes, here on the Med coast in Turkey if all goes to plan Sunday will be the warmest 8 June at 34c since records began!!
It's kebabs and salad for us and we finish off the day watching the reflection of the setting sun on the mountains as they rapidly change colour. We usually finish the day with a glass (or 2) of Raki and I find it reduced the toilet visits at night too.
Kind Regards - Brian xx

Brian, don't think of "possible bad news", think "it will be ok, otherwise they would have wanted you in earlier."
You are so positive for everyone else!
Now it's us who are being positive for you!
Enjoy Turkey ... and the Efes and Kebabs!

Amnesiac, I love Mythos! Every time we go to any Greek island the first thing to do is have a draft pint of Mythos. Well, a large one anyway!
Sometimes when Lidl have their 'Greek Week' they sell bottles of Mythos. It's not quite the same, but nearly.
Enjoy Corfu!

Hello Amnesiac
Thank you for your post - it's great to hear you are doing well. I think when you have/had cancer you appreciate life more and have a wonderful holiday in Corfu, it's over 40 years since we went there so I bet it's changed..
We are having a great time in Turkey - the weather is better than expected and the food and drink fantastic. Eating out can be expensive here as inflation is 60%+ but there are still bargains to be found.
AS for Oldham, coming from behind twice to beat Southend - well my nerves have never been bad - but I was shaking - I have watched my team from pre premiership days to the National League - it's been some journey!!
Keep in touch and best wishes moving forward.
Kind Regards - Brian.
