Hormone therapy

I would urgently contact the oncology team or who ever specialist you are under. My understanding is that hormone medication  needs to be administered within fixed time scales .

My understanding from the manufacturers information sheet is that it is an injection every 6 months (24 weeks) so you are not late in getting it done but a few days doesn't normally matter. In future I would put a note in your diary to contact your GP during week 23 to gently remind them that it is due.

I have a three monthly injection and every time I go the nurse gives me a card with the next date on.
It's up to me to phone and make the appointment

Can you not put a reminder in your phone or write it on a calendar?

The so called “6 monthly” injection is every 24 weeks, so you’re bang on time.  A week or two either side wouldn’t matter anyway.  I’m now 5 months since my final “3 monthly” jab and I’m pretty sure that Tommy T is still not in the building….   AW

That sounds very like my situation, last HT 'jab' was 24th October 2024, next would have been mid January but they decided it was near enough to the six months from the end of HT (the period defined by my consultant for continuation of HT) so that would not happen.
As of the 24th April my testosterone level was <0.4 i.e. still on holiday, obviously on extended leave!
