When Alwayshope told me my prostate had reduced by 26% I thought that could only be good news but one thing just occurred to me if the prostate has reduced in size does that mean the nodules could be closer to the edge of the prostate gland?
Yes it does Roy if the lesion is in the peripheral zone but whether it is likely to breach the capsule is determined by your Gleason score and whether there are any higher risk factors like cribriform or perineural invasion - you don't so carry on with the AS and keep vigilant.
