Week before Zoledex implant.

I suspect that this depends on the person, because my how sweats are more pronounced a couple of weeks after the injection.

Then there seems to be a stabilisation and a downturn - or, perhaps, I get used to them. I can't work out which of those it is.

My HF’s are similar between shots. But over the years they are less per day but more intense. But it’s been gradual over the 2.5 years I’ve only had the 3 monthly injections.

Mine were bad and very unpredictable - but as I have said before Sage Tablets cured mine - it took about 10 days to kick in but once I was on them I never had another flush - sadly they don't work for everyone.

• my hot flushes come and go between injections , normally when I least expect one, quite often I have to kick the bedding off in night, only 12 more injections to go

My LH experienced a similar pattern when having monthly Degarelix injections. A week before the next was due he would have more intense hot flushes & feel more emotional. He is in the 5th week of 3 monthly of Prostap instead now. (Oncologist changed this just before 1st chemotherapy) He only has an occasional hot flush with no pattern we have identified yet.

• Hello. I started my Zoladex jabs a year ago and haven't noticed the phenomenon you described.

However, I nearly always have a hot flush while cleaning my teeth in the evening with my electric toothbrush, often making a right old mess as I attempt to strip off an unwanted layer at the same time .....
