I am no pro but eventually the cancer within the gland will break out and spread elsewhere.

The Community is made up entirely of none professionals as it's a peer to peer support platform so sadly you aren't going to get an answer from a professional here.

Steve Grundo above is correct though. If the cancer stays within the gland it's not going to kill you, it's when it leaves the gland and goes "walkabout" and messes with your other vital organs that problems happen.
