Hi,
I am half way thru my 20 fractions, and obviously on my HRT injection, 2nd one due soon.
Prostate cancer confined to prostate.
Side effects, tiredness, slight nausea, some diarrhoea yesterday, and today some blood in poo.
Radiologist says normal as EBRT affects some healthy tissue, and bowel will be irritated and inflamed
from daily enemas and EBRT itself. I go to Lincoln on Linac machine, very impressive.
Any help from people with similar side effects please and how best to cope in coming 2 weeks of treatment and thereafter until symptoms subside. Up in night, but only once at minute!!
