Are recommendations allowed on here , on the Prostrate cancer UK forum your not allowed to mention anyone by name which seems quite odd when your reading positive outcomes but don’t know who the surgeon was, my research has narrowed it down to about 5 surgeons, a few of who I think are being covertly mentioned on the other forum
if you are allowed would appreciate recommendations please and I will put down the names of the ones I have heard good things about
Cheers
Nick
Hello nick (Fantic240)
There should be no problem in naming a surgeon provided it's from PERSONAL RECOMENDATION (he/she has done your surgery) and there's no naming and shaming of others. (I am only quoting Community Guidelines). You can of course chat about other names in a private message.
I can't help you here as I still have 95% of my prostate - but good luck.
Best wishes - Brian.

Hi. I had a Ralph recently, February, and the surgeon i was fortunate to have was amazing. I previously had numerous episodes of abdominal surgery which resulted in adhesions making the surgery potentially much more difficult. No issues during surgery and well on my way to recovery. I haven't checked where you live but I believe you can choose where you have surgery. Feel free to email me.
