I again friends, as you know I moved my treatment from the netherlands to Leuven in Belgium, after my first appointment I went back two weeks ago for a new pet scan ,to check how things develop, results came and it's confirmed everything in prostate and a few lymph nodes , they also say it already can see the effect of the hormonotherapy treatment, my psa is now 0.04 ,wich they say it's pretty good ,inclusive my oncologist, till now no side effects noticed ,urinating pretty normal . Leuven called back and already have a treatment proposal for me , surgery and a light radiotherapy later ,just in case ,I have next monday an appointment with the surgeon to talk about the treatment, the final decision is naturally mine, for what they told me ,they discussed my situation among all the multi disciplinary team and they think this way it's possible to eradicate everything, of corse no garantie, the surgeon it's very experienced ,with some study published and university professor in Leuven university, I'm pretty hopeful ar this time, I know I still have a long way to go ,but now o see light op the other side not just darkness, hope to ear your opinion, but please avoid sharing same dark thoughts, I have enough of those myself, hope my post is useful for someone else ,My message is , don't loose hope ,don't accept first thing someone proposes to you ,get informed, talk to the great people in this group ,they will help you, as they helped me when I was I a very dark place ,it's very scary at the beginning, still is ,but now hope is me no only darkness, thank you again all of you for your amazing help hope everyone is going good .
